Adoption

I'm sure you know the term 'Adopt, Don't Shop!'
It's really, really, REALLY true.
I'm sure you know that adopting a dog or cat is wonderful, but sadly, lots of people DO NOT.

WHAT IS AN ANIMAL SHELTER?
A place where abused, starved, unwanted and neglected pets come there to be properly taken care of.

WHAT IS A NO-KILL SHELTER?
No-kill shelters are where dogs and cats that are there for a long period of time, won't be euthanized. If you find a lost dog, take it to a no-kill shelter. In kill-shelters, four million cats and dogs—about one every eight seconds—are put down in U.S. shelters each year...

WHAT IS RESCUING?
Rescuing is giving an unwanted animal a second chance at a good life. Rescuing is giving an unwanted animal the love it deserves. Rescuing is helping that animal become happy once again.

To support animals, donate to ASPCA.ORG , or humanesociety.org. Another great website is animalrescuesite.com. Click every day to donate .6 bowls of food to rescued animals or buy from their shop where all proceeds go to helping animals.
